Living Beyond Diabetes: A Journey of Hope and Inspiration
My name is Moises Lopez, and I've been living with type 2 diabetes for about 13 years. I had a family history of diabetes but it never occured to me that I would develop diabetes or that I was even at risk. I thought that I was active and healthy and that i would be fine.
I'm now 58 years old Initially, the diagnosis was such a shock. At first, I really struggledto come to terms with my diagnosis. I felt like my life was over, and I didn't know how I was going to manage my diabetes. I was also worried about the long-term effects of diabetes, such as heart disease, stroke, and blindness.
It took me about 10 years to get over it. Over time, I started to learn more about diabetes, and I began to take control of my condition. I started exercising, eating a healthy diet, and taking my medication as prescribed. Now, I've embraced the challenge and discovered that living with diabetes doesn't mean compromising on a fulfilling life. Through this blog, I would like to share my personal experiences, provide valuable advice, and extend support to fellow diabetics.
I am now in a much better place. I am managing my diabetes well, and I am living a full and happy life.
I started this blog to share my personal experiences with diabetes, and to provide advice to anyone that would hear it, and support to fellow diabetics. I want to challenge the misconceptions about diabetes, and to show people that diabetes is not a death sentence. It is an opportunity to thrive. I would like to advocate for diabetes awareness, and would love to help other diabetics live their best lives.
I hope you will join me on my journey!
